Abstract

PURPOSE:To correct or retouch a character by a single pressing operation, by causing a pressure-sensitive transfer layer to comprise a microencapsulated electron-donative colorless dye, a microencapsulated electron-acceptive color developer and a wax as main constituents. CONSTITUTION:By using a microcapsule dispersed liquid containing a color former (colorless dye) and a microcapsule dispersed liquid containing a color developer, an aqueous coating liquid is prepared. For example, 10pts. of color former-containing capsules, 18pts. of color developer-containing capsules, 12pts. of a paraffin wax emulsion, 2pts. of polyvinyl methyl ether, 10pts. of wheat starch and 8pts. of a SBR latex are mixed with each other, and water is added thereto to prepare an aqueous dispersed coating liquid having a solid content of 20wt.%. The coating liquid is applied to the back side of a thermal recording paper provided thereon with a thermal recording layer in a coating weight of 6g/m<2>, to provide a pressure-sensitive transfer layer.
