Abstract
PURPOSE:To output a proper contact signal only without being affected by noise and reduce the cycle time by providing contact determining means for outputting a contact detection signal when a duration time of a set condition of condition retaining means becomes a predetermined time or more. CONSTITUTION:A sensor 21 detects a signal a generated when a grinding wheel of a grinder contacts a work, and a fluctuated threshold circuit 28 outputs a high level threshold VH and a low level threshold VL according to the signal a. When the signal level of the sensor becomes higher than the high level threshold, a first comparator 29 outputs a condition retaining means setting signal. A contact determining means 34 determines whether or not a duration time of a set condition of condition retaining means 31 becomes a predetermined time or more. When the duration time of the set condition becomes the predetermined time or more, a contact detection signal e is output. Accordingly, it is prevented that a lost grinding time will be unnecessarily increased because of malfunction due to a noise signal during grinding.
