Abstract

PURPOSE:To detect the braking state reliably by detecting that the rotation of car is not stopped abruptly while producing a signal when it is detected that the rotation of the wheel is below predetermined level. CONSTITUTION:The counter 19 will count the pulse through the signal from the rotation sensor 12, and provide to each of three comparators 21-23. Each comparators 21-23 will compare the output from the counter 19 with each predetermined value and provide the signal to AND gate 24. The output from AND gate 24 will control the flip-flop circuit 31. The flip-flop 31 will decide that the rotation of the wheel will be below the predetermined level for more than predetermined time continuously and will not be zero, and produce the signal only when it is decided that the rotation after that moment is below the predetermined level in the comparator 21, then the drive circuit 32 will operate the electromagnetic brake 5 thus to perform the brake holding function.
