Abstract
PURPOSE:To confirm the functions of respective parts of a flowmeter main body to be inspected, a gas flow rate sensor, etc., individually by providing a valve which branches and supplies gas to the side of the mass flowmeter to be inspected and the side of the gas flow rate sensor, opening-closing valves provided in front of and behind the flowmeter to be inspected, etc. CONSTITUTION:The gas N2 which is supplied is branched by the opening-closing valves 14a and 14b, further branched by a three-way valve 15 on the side of the opening- closing valve 14a, and discharged through tapered pipe flowmeters 16a and 16b used as a standard flowmeter, the mass flowmeter 18 to be inspected, etc. The gas is discharged through a needle valve 4, a gas flow rate sensor 21, etc., on the side of the opening-closing valve 14b. The gas N2 is made to flow optionally through the opening- closing operation of the opening-closing valves 14a and 14b and when the opening- closing valves 14c and 14d provided in front of and behind the flowmeter 18 to be inspected are closed, the gas N2 can be enclosed within this space, so it is confirmed from the output of a pressure sensor 17 whether the gas leaks from the object flowmeter 18 or not. Further, the flow rate of the gas N2 can be adjusted finely by opening and closing the needle valve 4, so the function of the flow rate sensor 21 is accurately checked.
