Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce ripple in generated torque, by increasing current level during current distribution interval under low speed rotation. CONSTITUTION:A brushless motor comprises a permanent magnet rotor 1, stator windings 2a-2c, a driving circuit 6, a position signal operating circuit 9, a modulation circuit 30, a simulated current generating circuit 90, a synthesizer circuit 50, a mode detecting circuit 80, a switch 90 and the like. A position signal operating circuit 9 comprises an integration disabling command circuits 20a-20c, rectifiers 3a-3c, voltage/current converting circuits 4a-4c, switches 26a-26c, clamp diodes 27a-27c, time integration capacitors 11a-11c and the like and outputs a three-phase position signal to a distribution circuit 22. Consequently, respective currents to be fed to the stator winding 2 are distributed with the output ratio of the position signal provided from the operating circuit 19. As a result, switching of phase is carried out smoothly and the current level during current distribution interval increases/decreases corresponding to the output state of the mode detection circuit 80.
