Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve a starting characteristic by generating a revolving magnetic field at fixed speed by a stator when starting and giving starting torque by eddy currents, induced currents, magnetic hysteresis, etc. by the revolving magnetic field. CONSTITUTION:When starting, the three-phase pulses of predetermined frequency are inputted to a six-phase pulse generating circuit 30 through changeover switches 29 from a three-phase pulse generating circuit 28. Six-phase pulses generated at the circuit 30 are further inputted to switching transistors 11-16 at output stages, DC currents are interrupted, a stator coil is conducted and the three-phase revolving magnetic field is generated. Eddy current torque is generated in the conductive material board of the surface of a rotary magnet by the three-phase revolving magnetic field, and a rotor is started and turned. When the number of revolution of the rotor reaches the reference number of revolution or higher, the connection of the changeover switches 29 is changed over to the back electromotive voltage signal system side, and the motor is transferred to rotary operation as the DC brushless motor.
