Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable using an apparatus under high water pressure without requiring a shaft seal device by hardening only the stator with a waterproof insulation. CONSTITUTION:A stator 1 is hardened with a waterproof insulation such as polyester resin or vinyl chloride to form a solid body of integral construction and the inner rotor 2 is exposed in the water so as to rotate under water. As a bearing 4, and ordinary one is used, and as an inner lubricating oil, an aqueous lubricant such as solid neutral soap is included in place of an lubricating oil. A net cover 5 is installed so that no foreign matter may come in during rotation. Thus, because a shaft seal device closed to a high degree is eliminated, an apparatus can be used as a rotary motive power without being influenced by pressure even under a high water pressure in the deep sea.
