Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a simple, inexpensive and highly reliable impact protector by an arrangement wherein the circuit is interrupted by detecting a leakage current. CONSTITUTION: Special sensor wires W, in the form of at least one noninsulated wire, are arranged at various parts of a small apparatus in order to detect a leakage current. When the sensor wire W touches a conductive liquid, a leakage current flows from the sensor wire W through a shortest path to inner and outer grounding points of the apparatus. Consequently, a relay R is excited through diode rectifiers D1 , D2 and a power supply circuit is opened by through the contacts in the relay R.
