Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve steeply quality and reliability by preventing inconvenience caused by fissure, crack, and other thermal expansion difference from occurring in a structural member even though liquid of a high temperature is used, by specifying a thickness of an electrode to be established on an inner and an outer peripheral surface of a piezoelectric ceramic tube. CONSTITUTION:Electrodes are formed on an inner and an outer peripheral surfaces of a piezoelectric ceramics tube by electroless nickel plating, lead wires 4, 5 are attached thereto, and polarization treatment (500V, 5min) is performed. A compression strength in a diameter direction and a displacement amount in a lengthwise direction when DC voltage of 150V is impressed are measured. In order to secure a necessary compression strength and a necessary displace amount, a thickness of the electrode is necessarily 5mum-20mum.
