Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain an adsorbing and purifying material adaptable to any field by mixing a porous mineral such as zeolite with pottery stone, adding dehydrogenase, subjecting them to fermentation and three-step calcining, and grinding a formed gelled body. CONSTITUTION:Proper amts. of a porous mineral such as zeolite and pottery stone are ground and mixed. A proper amt. of dehydrogenase extracted from pineapples or other fruit is added to the mixture and mixed. The resulting mixture is fermented and calcined in three steps by heating to about 600-1,300 deg.C in a furnace and a formed gelled body is ground to obtain an adsorbing and purifying material in the form of granules or particles. When the material is added to medicines, the effect is enhanced. When the material is used to process or preserve food and drink, deodorization, sterilization, dechlorination or purification is attained, rotting is prevented and freshness is kept. When the material is incorporated into building materials, paint, etc., molding, rusting and decay are prevented.
