Abstract

PURPOSE:To make the overhanging parts of a glass substrate small and to decrease the voltage drop by bus line resistance by forming bus line groups for connecting to respective driver ICs on a flexible circuit board and connecting the bus line groups and the prescribed terminals of the driver ICs. CONSTITUTION:A connecting pattern 4 and a junction connecting pattern 4 for the bus line are formed by a solderable metal to the overhanging part 3a of the lower glass substrate 3. The respective terminals of the driver IC 10 are soldered to the pattern 4 and the pattern 9. Plural pieces of the terminal parts 11a via through-holes 13 are provided in correspondence to the driver IC 10 groups to the prescribed positions of the flexible circuit board 11. The width of the overhanging parts of the glass substrate can be decreased by as much as the bus line component if the bus lines are formed to the flexible circuit board in such a manner. Since the sufficient pattern thickness can be taken for the bus line, the resistance value decreases and the voltage drop is practicably negligible.
