。第2図は、前記第1図にて示した水底ケーブル
の入水角測定装置が取り付けられた海底ケーブル
布設船にて、海底ケーブルの布設作業を実施して
いる態様を示した図である。第3図及び第4図は
、夫々従来技術に従う海底ケーブルの入水角測定
装置を示した部分縦断面図である。

Claims (1)
水底ケーブルと水面とのなす角度を測定する水底
ケーブルの入水角測定装置であつて、布設すべき
水底ケーブルを供給する水底ケーブル布設船によ
つて揺動自在に支持されるようになつているとと
もに、前記水底ケーブル布設船から供給され揺動
する水底ケーブルを水底方向へと案内する案内空
間部が形成されている保持部材と、前記保持部材
に取り付けられ、前記保持部材と水面とのなす角
度を検知して該検知した角度に応じた電気信号を
出力する角度検出器とを具備していることを特徴
とする水底ケーブルの入水角測定装置。 (2) 前記保持部材の案内空間部は、前記水底ケ
ーブル布設船から繰出され水底方向へと移動する
ケーブルに対して挿脱自在に複数個の部品にて組
み付けられて形成されているとともに、前記角度
検出器は、前記保持部材が水面に対して垂下され
た状態を基準として前記保持部材と前記水面との
なす角度を検知するようになつていることを特徴
とする実用新案登録請求の範囲第1項記載の水底
ケーブルの入水角測定装置。 (3) 前記水底ケーブル布設用船は、ケーブルド
ラムが載置されており、船尾には、前記ケーブル
ドラムから繰出された水底ケーブルを受けてこれ
を水面下へと案内するシープが設けられていると
ともに、前記角度検出器から出力された電気信号
を受けて、所定の信号処理を施す入水角指示計が
設けられていることを特徴とする実用新案登録請
求の範囲第1項又は第2項に記載の水底ケーブル
