Abstract

PURPOSE: To make it possible to employ an electromagnetic valve with a small air gap by structuring a locking member for a safety valve to be actuated by the magnetic valve and a disk arranged within an opening to occupy specific amount so that a large flow passage section with a small stroke can be released. CONSTITUTION: In the safety valve 8 of an idling adjuster, a locking member 9 is locked by a compression spring 19 in a state of pre-load away from the iron core 21 by means of an air gap 20. At this locking position the locking member 9 is in contact with a valve seat 10 and the passages 16, 17 for the locking member 9 and the passages 14, 15 for a disk 13 are in contact without overlapping with one another. Hence, on the actuation of the electromagnetic valve, the locking member 9 is sucked by the iron core 21 to keep away from the valve seat 10 causing a flow passage section for the passages 16, 17 of the locking member 9 and the passages 14, 15 of the disk 13 is released in addition to the flow passage section passing outside of the locking member 9. Accordingly, the stroke of the locking member 9 can be made small and a relatively low-cost electromagnetic valve with a small air gap 20 can be utilized.
