Abstract
PURPOSE: To brake and lock a wheel by fitting a rotary rod by pivotally supporting the center part to the wheel supporting leg rod of a baby car, providing a wheel tread braking part on one end and a wheel lock engaging part on the other end of the rotary rod, and connecting a wire operated by the operation part of a baby car pushing rod part to the rotary rod. CONSTITUTION: The center part of a rotary rod 5 is rotatably pivotally supported and fitted with a leg rod 3 rotatably supporting a baby car wheel 1. One end of the rotary rod 5 is curvedly formed on the tread side of the wheel 1 into a braking part 5a. A projecting pin 5b is planted on the other end part to constitute a wheel lock engaging part. The other end of a wire operated by an operation part such as the lever provided on the push rod part of the baby car is connected to the vicinity of the pivotally supported part of the rotary rod 5 through a pressing spring 15. Braking of the wheel 1 due to operation of the braking part 5a by pulling operation of the wire 12, lock of a wheel axle 2 due to the projecting pin 5b by pressing operation, are performed. Hereby by operation at hand, brake of the baby car and lock of the wheel can be performed.
