Abstract

PURPOSE: To suppress the engine rotating speed to the preset rotating speed or lower by comparing the output of an engine rotating speed voltage converting circuit and the output of a reference voltage circuit and changing the reference voltage of the wave-form shaping circuit of the ignition signal in response to this comparison result.
CONSTITUTION: The ignition signal 101 generated in a pickup coil 1 is inputted to the base of a transistor 22 based on the reference voltage 102 of a wave-form shaping circuit 2, thus the ignition coil control signal 103 is generated on its collector. The ignition coil control signal 103 passes transistors 24, 26 of an amplifying circuit 3 and turns an output transistor 4 on or off. As a result, the high voltage is generated on the secondary side of an ignition coil 8. In this case, the output of an engine rotating speed voltage converting circuit 6 and the output of a reference voltage circuit 5 are compared in a comparing circuit 7. When the engine rotating speed rises to the preset value or higher, the output of the comparing circuit 7 is set low.
