Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a fine ignition timing characteristic from low speed to high speed of an engine by so designing the engine that the ignition timing is determined by the first angle signal between middle speed and high speed and, at low speed, the ignition timing is determined by the second angle signal of which angle width is larger than that of the first angle signal and is delayed by an appropriate angle.
CONSTITUTION: A condenser 4 is charged by a rectifying output from a power source coil 1, and its charge is applied to the primary coil 5a of an ignition coil 5 at the ignition time of an engine, that is, an output generating time of an ignition time operating circuit 15 or an output voltage (b) generating time from the signal coil 8 at which output voltage (a) from a signal coil 8 is input, by continuing thyrister 7 to generate a high voltage at the secondary coil 5b to emit sparks at an ignition plug 6.
