Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the reliability by connecting respectively a voltage division circuit to two current sensing resistors and giving its output to a base of a current limit transistor(TR) so as to prevent excess through-current. CONSTITUTION:The voltage dividing ratio of a voltage divider circuit comprising resistors 17, 18 is selected so that a value being the voltage division of a voltage drop across a current sensing resistor 11 is more than a base-emitter voltage when a TR 15 is turned on. Thus, the TR 15 is turned on when an excess through-current flows in the path of power supply 5 TR 6 TR 9 current sensing resistor 11 ground to bypass a base current of a drive TR 13 thereby preventing an excess current. The voltage division ratio of voltage division circuits 19, 20 is selected equal to that of voltage division circuits 17,18 and an excess through-current flowing to the current sensing resistor 12 is prevented by a TR 14.
