Abstract

CONSTITUTION:The case when a fault is generated in an ST switcher 11B of an ST controller 10B side is explained hereinafter. When a host controller A of a controller 10A executes an access to a disk 22a, an ST switcher 11A which receives its command reads out path management information of the disk 22a, and simultaneously, receives path management information of the disk 22a from the switcher 11B of the other system. An error detecting part 12A of the other system executes an error check to a data which is received from the switcher 11B of the other system, and when an error is detected, an error detecting signal is turned ON, and the error is informed to the ST controller 10B of the other system. When the error detecting signal becomes ON, an array data collating part becomes an inoperable state, and a collation processing of a data which is read out is stopped.
