Abstract

PURPOSE:To make accurate transfer of one container at a time even if cut-in occurs by making the first conveyer to reciprocally move in normal and reverse directions when transfer of a vessel from the first conveyer to the second conveyer is detected in an automatic transfer device of 'Enoki' mushroom culture container. CONSTITUTION:When a container 2 group on the first conveyer 1 arrives, the second conveyer 24 in an irregular state and one of four containers in the front row abuts the first receiving plate 29, a limit switch 30 is actuated. This causes containers 2 in the second row on the conveyer 1 to proceed, and all containers 2 in the front row and pushed out on the conveyer 24 and stand in a row at the plate 29. Then the conveyer 1 is reversed and the conveyer 24 actuated. When a container 2 on the conveyer 24 abuts a receiving plate 32, containers are transferred one at a time by a movable plate 35. After that, normal or reverse operation of the conveyer 1 is reciprocated, and proceeding of the conveyer 24 and transfer operation of a transfer part C are repeated. Thus reliable transfer can be made.
