Abstract
PURPOSE:To make easily positioning of a window plate without using a positioning pin, by setting empty rooms in the central part of a fixed mold or a movable mold, placing a window plate on seal materials, positioning by means of a position-detecting signal, making the empty rooms under a negative pressure and clamping the mold. CONSTITUTION:Empty rooms 13a and 13b are formed at the central part of at least one of a fixed mold 11a and a movable mold 11b, and expandable seal materials 17a and 17b projecting to the mold face of the opposite side and continuing in a ring- shape are set on the neighborhood of the outer circumference. A window plate 6 is thereon placed and is positioned by means of a signal output from a position- detecting apparatus 23. Mold-clamping is done under such a condition that the empty rooms 13a and 13b is brought under a negative pressure and the window plate 6 is brought into tight contact with the seal materials 17a and 17b and injection molding is carried out. As positioning of the window plate can be easily done by detecting a reflected or transmitted light and the window plate is brought into tight contact with the seal material, the window plate does not move and a frame part can be formed at a specific position even if the mold-clamping and the injection molding is done under this condition.
