Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable effective ventilation even when the ventilation alone is to be performed by disposing an inlet partition in a chamber which is communicated to the room space, an air inlet port being disposed on one side of said partition and a second air inlet port connected to the exhaust side on the other side of the partition. CONSTITUTION:The air conditioning inlet chamber 23 and the ventilating chamber 31 are communicated to the room space by room air inlet ports 22, 22a, and are partitioned by an inlet partition 36. When only the ventilation is to be performed, the air conditioning fan 26 is stopped, and the fresh outside air is supplied by the outside air suction fan 30 through a total heat exchanger 28 to the blower chamber 29, part of the fresh air being delivered through a heat exchanger 24 and a room air supply port 25 into the room and the remainder through the air conditioning inlet chamber 23 and room air supply port 22 into the room. Meanwhile, the dirty air taken in from the room air inlet port 22a by the operation of an exhaust fan 35 is discharged through the ventilating suction chamber 31 and an exhaust air inlet port 33 disposed in the partition 32 to the total heat exchanger 28 out of an outdoor exhaust port 34.
