Abstract

PURPOSE:To effectively absorb displacement caused by earthquake by a method in which a large-diameter steel ball set on the conical recession of floor is housed in a holder, and a coil spring is set between the holder and the upper part to support a floor panel. CONSTITUTION:A conical recession 3 is formed on the fixed portion of floor 22, and a large-diameter steel ball 4 is set on the recession 3. The upper part of the ball 4 is housed in the central body 5. A coil spring 15 is set between the central body 5 and the upper part to fit the body 5 slidably, and a flange 18 is projectionally provided above the upper part and connected with the end of a common joist 23. A floor panel 24 is supported through a support leg 25 on the joist 23. The occurrence of displacement not only in the horizontal direction but also in the vertical direction can thus be effectively avoided in case where relative displacement by external vibration such as earthquake occurs.
