Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent positively foreign objects from coming into a bearing by providing a cylindrical covering member with a base plate covering the upper end surface of a rolling bearing which supports the upper end of a shaft for the rotary bearing device used for a plane opposite type motor and the like. CONSTITUTION:The upper open section enclosed by both of the inner ring 9a and the outer ring 9b of a rolling bearing B9 is hermetically sealed by a covering member 10 fixed onto the upper end of a housing 5. The rolling bearing B9 consists of the inner ring 9a, the outer ring 9b, rolling elements 9c and an inner covering member 9d arranged underneath of the rolling elements 9c. The aforesaid covering member 10 also holds the end surface of the outer ring 9b acting as a member which prevents the parting of a rolling bearing 9 from the housing 5. Owing to this constitution, the aforesaid housing 10 prevents positively foreign objects from coming in through the upper side of the housing 5, thereby allowing the stable and accurate rotation of a shaft to effectuate.
