PURPOSE:To obtain the titled compsn. which easily develops a color on being exposed to the sun's rays or UV, by incorporating an arom. amine and an org. halogen compd. into a mineral component based on a stratified silicate mineral or a stratified clay mineral. CONSTITUTION:An arom. amine such as diphenylamine is added to a mineral component based on a stratified silicate mineral or a stratified clay mineral, e.g., montmorillonite by 0.05-10pts.wt. per 100pts.wt. mineral component and an antioxidant such as dibutylhydroxytoluene is further added by a required amt. such as 0.3pt.wt. is required. They are mixed and ground until uniform powder is formed. An org. halogen compd. having three or more halogen atoms an one molecule, e.g., carbon tetrachloride is added to the resulting powder by an atm. (weight) 0.1-10 times the amt. of the arom. amine and they are kneaded to obtain the titled compsn.
