Abstract

PURPOSE: To transmit an operating force from a handle to a traveling wheel while preventing transmission of a reverse driving force from the traveling wheel to the handle by providing a cam mechanism, by which the relative movements of an intermediate rotor and a driving rotor in the rotating direction are converted into the forward movement of the intermediate rotor, and a clutch mechanism which connects the intermediate rotor to a driven rotor. CONSTITUTION: When a handle 3 is rotated, a driving rotor 9 which rotates integrally with a rotating shaft 7 and an intermediate rotor 11 are moved relative to each other in the rotating direction by a weight 13a. The engaging face 14c of the driving rotor 9 slides against the cam face 14a of the intermediate rotor 11, the intermediate rotor 11 is pressed in the advancing direction X, and a toothed part 15b meshes with a toothed part 15a, connecting the intermediate rotor 11 to a sprocket 8. A rotating force is transmitted to a traveling wheel 5 via the sprocket 8 and a chain 18 to move a rack main body 4. When the handle 3 is released, the force to advance the intermediate rotor 11 is eliminated, and the intermediate rotor 11 is moved backward by a compression coil spring 12a and disconnected from the sprocket 8 to allow the handle 3 to return to the lowest position along with a weight 13.
