Abstract
PURPOSE:To apply to a liquid crystal panel with a single IC and different driving systems by providing a polarity switching circuit on the input side of an output amplifier to amplify a driving signal (a video signal) and connecting a reference voltage generating circuit arbitrarily switchable to the constant reference voltage or the alternating reference voltage of an output. CONSTITUTION:The video signal is supplied through a polarity switching circuit consisting of an input part 30, an input amplifier 31, and transistors Q11-Q17 to an output amplifier 32. The polarity switching circuit derives a reverse video signal for every one field. The output video signal (the liquid crystal panel driving signal) of the output amplifier 32 is derived to an output pin P31. Here, the reference potential of the video signal appeared at the pin P31 can be arbitrarily set to a constant reference potential or an alternating reference potential. That is, the output voltage of the reference voltage generating circuit consisting of transistors Q21-Q30 is given through a load resistance R10 to the input part of the output amplifier 32, and when the constant reference voltage is given, a pin P33 is set to open condition, and when the alternating reference voltage is obtained, the alternating voltage synchronized with a timing pulse is given to the pin 33.
