Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain an electrolytic capacitor having small impedance and excellent high-temperature stability by using an electrolytic solution for drive consisting of an organic polar solvent into which the tetramethylammonium salt of citraconic acid is dissolved. CONSTITUTION:An electrolytic solution for drive composed of an organic polar solvent in which the tetramethylammonium salt of citraconic acid is dissolved. 0.5-80wt.% tetramethylammonium salt of citraconic acid is contained in the organic polar solvent. Amides, lactones, glycols, a sulfur compounds, etc., are employed as the organic polar solvent. Accordingly, an electrolytic capacitor having small impedance and excellent high-temperature stability is acquired.
