Abstract

PURPOSE:To aim at improvement in restartability and stabilization in engine speed after restarting by installing a supply port and an exhaust port of a fuel feeding conductor eccentrically, and situating these ports in top and bottom directions respectively at the time of engine installation. CONSTITUTION:A bottom feed type fuel injection valve 1 is set up in a fuel feeding conductor 2. This conductor 2 is installed at an angle (about 20-40deg) or theta to the vertical direction, and a fuel supply port 3 is set up in the lower part and a fuel exhaust port 4 at the upper part, respectively. Just before restarting at the time of fuel high temperature, air bubbles are produced in the fuel feeding conductor 2 and the injection valve 1 and left behind therein, but a fuel pump is operated simultaneously with an ignition key being turned on, so that cooling for the whole fuel system and bubble removal are made possible. Thus, restartability is greatly improved and, what is more, idling stability after restarting is also made better.
