NEW MATERIAL:A novel aminopyridine acid adduct of formula I (R1, R2 each are 1W18C alkyl; or k is 1, 2).
EXAMPLE: 4-Dimethylaminopyridine 2,6-dihydroxybenzoic acid adduct.
USE: A curing accelerator for epoxy resins.
PREPARATION: For example, an aminopyridine of formula II and dihydroxybenzoic acid are separately dissolved in an organic solvent and these solutions are mixed to effect the reaction, thus giving the compound of formula I.
