Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain an optical disk having excellent long-term reliability and capable of being stably used under high-temperature high-humid environment by bringing halogenated hydrocarbon as a polymerization solvent contained in a polycarbonate resin to a specific value or less. CONSTITUTION:A polycarbonate resin is acquired by the reaction of bisphenol and phosgene, using halogenated hydrocarbon as a solvent, the granules of the resin are pulverized as they are or under conditions in which 'dust' does not further increase, and dried and the halogenated hydrocarbon solvent is changed into dried powder of 10ppm or less, and desired additives are compounded properly and the powder is extruded and pelletized, thus manufacturing a molding material. The pellet is injection-molded and an optical disk substrate is obtained, the upper section of a recording film shaped by evaporating a substance such as a tellurium group oxide onto the substrate in 300-500Angstrom with a photo-setting type acrylic group resin, and the acrylic group resin is cured by ultraviolet rays, thus acquiring an optical disk.
