Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a high-quality decorative laminated board, by a method wherein a Japanese lacquer transfer film comprising a Japanese lacquer transfer layer on one side of a stiff transfer film is placed on a mold member having vent holes, with the transfer film directed downward, a base member is placed on the Japanese lacquer transfer layer, with a foamable resin therebetween, and the Japanese lacquer transfer film is pressed against the die member. CONSTITUTION:A Japanese lacquer composition is applied to one side of a stiff transfer film 1 such as a polysester film to provide a Japanese lacquer transfer layer 2. A Japanese lacquer transfer film 3 thus produced is placed on a smooth mold member 4 having minute vent holes, with the transfer film 1 directed downward. Next, a base member 6 is placed on the Japanese lacquer transfer layer 2, with a foamable resin 5 such as a urethane resin therebetween, and the resin 5 is hardened, whereby the base member 6 and the Japanese lacquer transfer layer 2 adhere to each other, and the Japanese lacquer transfer film 3 is pressed against the mold member 4 by the foaming pressure of the resin 5. By this, air between the transfer film 1 and the mold member 4 can be moved into the vent holes, and the Japanese lacquer transfer layer 2 can be surely provided with a specular surface by the stiffness of the transfer film 1. Thereafter, the transfer film 1 is released, whereby a decorative laminated board can be obtained.
