Abstract

PURPOSE:To perform a bead shaping simply with good efficiency without replacing a torch by performing a TIG arc welding by generating an arc from the non-consumable electrode taken by the chip of after completion of MIG welding. CONSTITUTION:A wire 1 is electrified from the chip 2 of a welding torch and a MIG arc 6 is generated between the wire 1 and base metal 5 with feeding the shielding gas 4 of an Ar, etc., from the tip of a shielding cup 3 as well to perform fillet welding, etc. In that case, said chip 2 is composed of a W alloy, etc., and the tip is finely formed so as to easily generate an arc as well and formed usable as a non-consumable electrode. After completion of said MIG welding, the wire 1 is drawn and a TIG arc 7 is generated between the chip 2 and base metal 5. With this arc 7 the shaping of the bead in MIG welding is executed.
