Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve working environment and to reduce the production cost by blending the prescribed ratio of binder, gypsum and water to refractory particles and hardening a core after molding and drying. CONSTITUTION:The core is formed by mixing under ratio of 0.5-10 parts of the binder of dextrin, etc., 1-6 parts of the gypsum and 1-20 parts of the water to 100 parts of the refractory particles as aggregate. The core is hardened with dried carbon dioxide gas or hot blasting, etc. After pouring the casting, by acting the water with the core, the core is naturally collapsed for short time of about few minutes. This reason is that the binder is decomposed with heat during pouring and binding force is eliminated. Generation of poison gas during pouring is eliminated and as the gypsum and the binder as the material are obtd. at low cost, the production cost of the core is reduced.
