Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a film for dry cell jacket label with good shrinkage appearance by forming it with a stabilizer mainly made of mercaptotin and vinyl chloride resin not containing metal soap and providing specific shrinkage factors in one direction and in the rectangular direction to it. CONSTITUTION:Two hard vinyl chloride resin films 2, 3 are stuck to each other by an adhesive 6, a printed layer 4 and a metal deposition layer 5 are provided respectively inside them to form a label 1. An adhesive 7 is coated on one face of the label 1 and stuck to a mold releasing paper 8. Mercaptotin 50% or more is contained as the stabilizer of the films 2, 3, and metal soap such as calcium stearate is not contained to prevent the whitening at the high temperature and high humidity. Shrinkage factors of the films 2, 3 are set to 30-40% in one direction and 5-20% in the rectangular direction to it. The metal deposition strength is thereby high, no whitening occurs at the high temperature and high humidity, and good shrinkage appearance is obtained.
