Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a nonadhesive elastic body roller for fixation which can secure the releasing performance to toner and paper by providing a porous nonadhesive layer of 0.1-8mum in pore diameter which covers the outer peripheral surface of a base rubber layer and has oil permeability. CONSTITUTION:The porous nonadhesive layer 3 with oil permeability which contains oil for offset prevention such as silicone oil is formed on the base rubber layer 2 and the pore diameter of the nonadhesive layer 3 is 0.1-8mum. Paper to be fixed is sent in to the nonadhesive elastic body roller 1 for fixation which is manufactured as mentioned above and its image is fixed during clamp fixation. The oil such as silicone oil that the base rubber layer 2 oozes to the outer peripheral surface of the noncohesive layer 3 as the roller is used. Consequently, even when this roller is applied to the fixing roller of an electronic copying machine, facsimile equipment, etc., the releasing performance of toner and paper is improved more to prevent effectively the outer peripheral surface of the roller from being stained and the nonadhesive layer 3 as the roller outer peripheral surface from wearing.
