CONSTITUTION:A slip control means receives output from a slip detecting means and carries out such slip control as to increase/reduce braking force applied to driving wheels by controlling a braking-force adjusting means in accordance with the difference between the actual slip of the driving wheels and a defined target value. And, a braking force increasing control characteristic and a braking force reducing control characteristic by the slip control means are set to be mutually different. That is, both braking force increase and braking force reduction are set to the optimum being suited to slip conditions required in their respective slip controls.
