Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of copying when using one paper supply cassette and to reduce the size of a machine by actively driving a paper supply roller again after detecting the stopping the rotation of the paper supply roller which rotates following the feeding of a 1st sheet of copying paper by a paper supply roller rotation detecting means, and feeding a 2nd sheet of copying paper. CONSTITUTION:By pushing down a mode key of continuouse copy of page processes thereafter go into those peculiar to page continuously copying. When the paper supply roller 13 feeds out the 1st sheet of copying paper and the copying paper starts to be forcedly fed out by a resistor roller 14, the paper supply roller 13 passively rotates. When the drawing out the copying paper from the part of the paper supply roller 13 is completed, the paper supply roller 13 stops the rotation, which is detected by the rotation detecting means 20. After a paper supply roller stopping signal is outputted from the rotation detecting means 20, the paper supply roller 13 is actively driven again to feed out the 2nd sheet of copying paper. Thereafter, usual continuously copying action is executed and one share of continuouse copy of page is completed when the copying action for the 2nd sheet of copying paper is completed. Thus, high speed page continuously copying which is efficient can be attained.
