Consequently, the rotation of a driving roller shaft 14 and the inclination of an entire-surface belt 15 are stopped instantaneously, and a sheet original stops at a prescribed position of an original platen 47. Then, copying operation starts. With a copying end signal, the motor 43 rotates and the clutch 35 is powered up; and the belt 15 starts discharging the sheet original, and the original is inserted between discharging rollers 20 and 21 and discharged onto a discharge tray.
