テープルの脚を折曲げ形成するタイプのステープ

第2図に示す様にベース部上面にステープルの
脚折曲げ用のクリンチヤを設け、後方に打込み装
置を備えた可動部を回動可能に枢着したステープ
ル打込み装置においては、紙等の被綴材はベース
部と打込み装置の可動部下面との間に挟まれドラ
イバの下動によりステープルを打出し被綴材を綴
るものである。しかしながら上記の構造にあつて
は、被綴材を貫通したステープルの脚先端は、貫
通後直ちにクリンチヤの折曲げ溝に当接しこの折
曲げ溝より反力を受けることとなる。この際ステ
ープルの脚部のうち被綴材中に位置する部分は、
被綴材により保持されているため脚部はその被綴
材の最下面と先端に至る部分の間で曲げを生ずる
こととなる。ステープルの脚のうち被綴材より貫
通突出した部分L1をドライバの押圧力により生
ずるクリンチヤの反力のうちの折曲げ方向に作用
する分力によりステープル脚を折曲げることとな
る。ここで、L1は短いものであるため折曲げに
は大きなドライバの押圧力を必要とする。このた
めに駆動源として大きな力を出せるものを必要と

とクリンチヤの溝間に空間部を形成するとともに
該段差部は綴り時において打込み装置のステープ
ル打出口近傍と対向して両者間に被綴材を挟み込

置6の可動部7の下面8に紙9を介して対向する
位置にある。打込み装置6の打込部材であるドラ
イバ10によりステープル11は、後続のステー
プルとの接続を断たれて紙9に向かつて下動され
る。次にステープルの脚先端12は紙9に当接し
て貫通し、クリンチヤの溝3と当接する。この状
態にあつては、ステープルの脚先端12側の紙9
を貫通した部分はクリンチヤの溝3深さと凸部4
の厚みL2となつておりドライバ10の下動によ
り更に継続してステープル11に荷重が加わつた
ときに、クリンチヤの溝3との当接部より反力を
受けその反力の脚を折曲げる方向の分力により両
脚の先端12,12が互いに近接する方向に折曲
げられていく。ここで折曲げられるステープルの
脚13は従来のものに比較し凸部4の高さA分長
く最下層の紙14より突出しているので折曲げが

に下の書類を傷めたりしてしまう恐れがある。こ
の凸部4の高さAが少ないbではステープルの脚
先端12は最下層の紙14の方向に向い上述の不

(考案の作用効果)
上述の様にクリンチヤの溝の近傍に段差部を形

の脚先端が進んだ後クリンチヤの溝と当接し折曲
げ力を受けることとなるので脚を折曲げる力は少
なくて足りる。このことは、ステープルを押圧し
ているドライバの負荷もクリンチ時は少なくて済
み、従つて装置を小型化軽量化することが出来る
他、充分な挫屈耐力を有しないステープルであつ
てもクリンチヤとの脚先端の衝合により生ずる脚
の折曲げの負荷を受けても脚は少ない負荷で折曲
がりを開始するため挫屈せる程の負荷に至らずに
脚は折曲げられて紙を綴ることが出来るため綴り
作業を確実に行なえ又挫屈による作業の中断を無
くすことができ作業効率を高めることが可能であ
