Description

【0001】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a stapler clincher for bending a leg of a staple that has been punched out during spelling.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Generally, a stapler is provided with a groove-shaped clincher for receiving and folding a staple leg that is driven by a driver during a spelling operation.
[0003]
By the way, as shown in Japanese Utility Model Laid-Open Publication No. 52-38666 and FIGS. 7 (a), 7 (b) and 7 (c), the conventional clincher has a two-dimensional bottom shape and a flat cross section. Was composed. For this reason, a certain limit is imposed on the size of the frontage dimension in the length direction in which the tip of the leg portion 11 of the staple 10 penetrating the material to be sewn is picked up. That is, since the clincher guides and bends the staple legs 11 inward at the curved portions on both sides of the bottom, if the width of the frontage is too large, the depth of the groove must be increased. If it is deep, the staples will bend more and cause loose clinch. However, if the width of the frontage is increased without increasing the depth of the groove, the portions occupied by the curved portions at both ends are relatively small, and conversely, the area of the flat portion 12 is increased. The probability that the tip of 11 directly hits the plane portion increases. In the flat part 12, there is a problem that buckling is likely to occur because the leg cannot be guided in the bending direction well.
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
As described above, since the width of the front end of the clincher cannot be easily widened, it is necessary to strictly control the dimension when forming the staple by setting the legs to be as perpendicular as possible to the crown portion of the staple. .
[0005]
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION It is an object of the present invention to provide a stapler clincher which can solve the above-mentioned problem and can bend a staple leg with a large forming error by changing the structure of the clincher.
[0006]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to solve the above problem, a stapler clincher according to the present invention is a stapler clincher for receiving and bending a tip of a leg of a staple that has been punched out by a driver and penetrated through a material to be sliced, and has a rectangular shape in plan view. And the bottom is formed in an arc shape in the width direction, and is curved at both ends in the length direction, and the curved portion in the length direction and the arc portion in the width direction are formed at four corners. It is characterized by being in contact through a boundary .
[ 0007 ]
BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION
FIG. 1 shows a stapler, wherein reference numeral 1 denotes a head, 2 denotes a magazine, and 3 denotes a base. A driver 4 is provided in the head 1, a staple 5 is housed in the magazine 2 in a connected state, and a clincher 6 is formed in the base 1.
[ 0008 ]
As shown in FIG. 2, the clincher 6 is formed in a rectangular groove shape in a plan view so as to receive and bend the tip of the leg 7 of the staple 5 which is punched out by the driver 4 and penetrates the material 8 to be sewn. Is formed with a curved portion 6a. As shown in FIG. 3, the width dimension in the longitudinal direction is formed larger than the conventional one. Specifically, the ratio of the swing width that swings outward between the time when the leg portion 7 of the staple 5 hits the surface of the sewn material 8 and the time when the staple 5 finishes penetrating is the maximum with respect to the maximum spellable thickness of the sewable material 8. The extension is formed to such an extent that the tip of the leg 7 can be received.
[ 0009 ]
That is, the stapler corresponds to a spellable thickness and the staple 5 having a leg length longer than the thickness. There is no problem when the leg 7 is exactly perpendicular to the crown 5a of the staple 5, but the leg 7 is slightly bent outward as shown by reference numeral 7a in FIG. 3 due to a molding error, for example. At this time, the staple 5 swings outward from the time when the leg 7 hits the surface of the material 8 to the time when the staple 5 finishes penetrating. The run-out width increases as the molding error of the leg portion 7 with respect to the crown portion 5a increases and as the thickness of the sewn material 8 increases. The maximum thickness of the spellable material 8 to be stapled is determined for each stapler. It is technically unavoidable that some dimensional error occurs when the staple 5 is formed. However, as long as there is no abnormality in the forming apparatus, even if the dimensional control is loosened, this error is extremely large. It never becomes. Therefore, the maximum value of the error of the staple 5 obtained through the normal molding process can be statistically determined. The same applies when the leg 7 is slightly bent inward as indicated by reference numeral 7b in FIG.
[ 0010 ]
Further, as shown in FIG. 5A, the tip 7a of the leg 7 of the staple 5 is formed in a V-shape (in some cases, a V-shape). There is no problem when the shape of the tip 7a is accurately formed in a V-shape. However, due to an error at the time of molding, the top is shifted laterally as shown in FIG. If the angles of the slopes on both sides of the top are different from each other, the leg 7 of the staple 5 swings outward from the time it hits the surface of the material 8 to the end of the penetration.
[ 0011 ]
In general, under loose dimension control, the thickness of the material 8 that can be spelled by the stapler of FIG. 1 is t, where t is the thickness of the material 8 to be sewn and w1 and W2 are the maximum swing widths when the staple 5 penetrates. Assuming a maximum of 18 mm, the maximum swing width w1 = w2 is about 3 mm. Under the same conditions, the run-out width of the staple 5 was about 2 mm in the conventional strict dimensional control. In other words, the maximum value of the ratio of the run-out width of the staple 5 to the maximum spellable thickness of the sewn material 8 can be said to be about 6: 1.
[ 0012 ]
Next, as shown in FIG. 4, the bottom of the clincher 6 is formed in an arc shape in the width direction. The arc portion 6b is smaller than a semicircle. Further, both side portions 6a in the longitudinal direction of the bottom of the clincher 6 are curved. At the four corners of the clincher 6, both the curved portions 6a in the length direction and the arc portions 6b in the width direction are in contact with each other via the boundary 6c. The width and depth of the groove bottom of the clincher 6 and the degree of curvature at both ends are assumed to be the same as those in the related art. For example, in the case of the staple 5, the deflection width in the width direction is about 1 mm, and the thickness of the leg 7 of the staple 5 is added to this, and the groove width of the clincher 6 is set to about 3 mm.
[ 0013 ]
In the above-described configuration, when the staple 5 is driven into the material 8 to be sewn, the leg 7 penetrates the material 8 to be bent and hits the clincher 6, thereby completing the spelling.
[ 0014 ]
By the way, when the leg 7 of the staple 5 is bent inward as indicated by reference numeral 7b in FIG. 3, that is, when it is bent so as to form an acute angle with the crown 5a, the leg penetrating the material 8 on both sides of the curved portion 6a of the tip clincher 6 parts 7b, from striking the more inner side of the bottom 6b, bent by being guided inwardly along the curved surface 6b.
[ 0015 ]
Similarly, the leg 7 of the staple 5 may be bent back and forth with respect to the crown 5a. In this case as well, the bottom surface 6b is formed in an arc shape in the width direction. As shown in FIG. 6, the clincher 6 has a curved surface 6b that is inclined in an arc shape, and the tip of the leg 7 is guided along the curved surface 6b at the bottom and is bent well.
[ 0016 ]
As described above, in the related art, the surface to which the tip of the leg portion 7 hits was a flat surface, and thus buckling occurred in some cases. However, since the surface to which the tip of the leg portion 7 hit is the arc-shaped surface 6b, The trigger for bending is smoothly performed, and good bending can be realized.
[ 0017 ]
Next, by forming the bottom surface of the groove in an arc shape, the buckling of the leg 7 can be prevented as described above, so that it is possible to make the frontage dimension larger than before. Therefore, even when the leg portion 7 of the staple 5 is largely bent outward as shown by reference numeral 7a in FIG. 3, that is, when the leg portion 7 is bent so as to form an obtuse angle with the crown portion 5a, the leg portion 7 penetrates the sewn material 8. The tip of the leg 7 is picked up by the curved portions 6a at both ends of the clincher 6, and is bent inward along the curved portion 6a. Therefore, if the leg 7 having a maximum ratio of the outward runout width to the maximum spellable thickness of the material 8 to be sewn can be picked up even with the leg portion 7 of about 6: 1, the size at the time of forming the staple 5 is considered. Since the management can be moderate, productivity is improved.
[ 0018 ]
Further, at the four corners of the clincher 6, the both-side curved portion 6a in the length direction and the arc-shaped portion 6b in the width direction are in contact with each other via the boundary 6c as shown in FIG. Thus, the tip of the leg 7 can be guided inward. For this reason, the entire bottom surface of the clincher 6 can reliably guide the leg 7 in the bending direction, thereby achieving good spelling.
