Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of wear between a plunger and a cylinder and between a shaft and a rotor, by a method wherein the axis of the cylinder is inclined in the advancing direction of the rotor, and the inner peripheral part of a cylinder hole is disposed near the side in the advancing direction of the rotor than the axis of the cylinder. CONSTITUTION:When a rotor 30 is rotated on the outer periphery of a shaft 20, a plunger 40 is reciprocated in a cylinder 31 as it is slid over the inner surface of a cam ring 50. In which case, fuel is fed through a suction control opening 21 to a delivery control opening 22. In this constitution, an axis 32 of the cylinder 31 is inclined in the rotation direction of the rotor 30 at a given angle with a line for interconnecting the center of the shaft 20 and a reference point 42 of the plunger 40.
