Abstract

PURPOSE:To prepare the title oligomer which forms a cured film by irradiation, by (meth)acryloylating both ends of the main molecular chain of a urethane oligomer having hydroxyl groups on both ends of its main molecular chain which has been synthesized from a specified dihydroxyl compd. CONSTITUTION:A dihydroxyl compd. of formula I (where R1, R2 and R4 are each alkylene; R3 is a hydrocarbon; R5 is H, CH3) (e.g., compd. of formula II) is reacted with a diisocyanate compd. (e.g., 2,4-tolylene diisocyanate) and a polyol compd. (e.g., polytetramethylene glycol) to give a urethane oligomer having hydroxyl groups on both ends of its main molecular chain. Then the oligomer is acryloylated at its both ends by reacting the oligomer with a diisocyanate compd. to introduce isocyanate groups into both ends of its main molecular chain and then reacting said groups with a compd. having a (meth) acrylic double bond and a group capable of reacting with an isocyanate group, e.g., 2-hydroxylethyl (meth)acrylate.
