Abstract

PURPOSE: To protect take-out port from clogging by lifting overflowed grain through a gap made between a zigzag flow board arranged above a lateral feed conveyor installed on the bottom of a conveyor and a rotary shutter arranged at the tip of the conveyor.
CONSTITUTION: A lateral feed conveyor 3 is born rotatably at the lower portions of front and rear walls 17, 18 of a container 1 in order to carry grain toward a take-out port 11. A zigzag flow board 19 is supported by a beam 20 above the conveyor 3, and the quantity of grain to be fed onto the conveyor 3 is regulated by means of a regulation board 21 located at the end of the flow board 19. The flow board 19 is ended in front of the wall 18 together with the conveyor 3, while a rotary converter 24 rotates coaxially with the shaft 22 of the conveyor 3 and moves up and down between a point of approximately same height as the flow board 19 and the take-out port 11. A gap (l) is formed between the end portion of the flow board 19 and the rotary converter 24 in order to lift overflowed grain therethrough. Consequently, the take-out port 11 can be protected from clogging with grain.
