Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the cost of installation to receive a satellite broadcast by connecting a reverse current blocking semiconductor element between a BS converter for a reception antenna and a satellite broadcast tuner of each subscriber. CONSTITUTION:The reverse flow blocking semiconductor elements D1-Dn are connected respectively between the input terminal IN of a distributer or a branching device 4 between a BS converter 3 of a satellite broadcast reception antenna 2 and a satellite broadcast tuner 5 of subscribers 1a, 1b...1n and distribution or branching terminals OUT1-OUTn so that the same polarity (in general forward) is given to the position of the terminals OUT1-OUTn, then the satellite broadcast is received by supplying a power to the BS converter 3 from any of the subscribers 1a,1b...1n in the group. The antenna 2 is used in common by the group and each subscriber can supply the power to the BS converter 3 at any time in case of the reception only, then the total cost of the satellite broadcast reception equipment is reduced.
