Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide improved Portland cement having low heat generation, water amount of low consistency, delayed setting properties and excellent effects of admixture, by adjusting particle size of cement and reducing fine powder part. CONSTITUTION:Particle size of Portland cement is adjusted and fine powder part is reduced to give improved Portland cement. As a concrete method to reduce the fine powder part, the fine powder part is properly separated by using 1-15mu classifying point. Consequently, reduction in water amount of consistency of cement, improvement in effects of admixture, reduction in hydrating heat rate occurring with hydration and regulation of setting time can be attained and a dense concrete set material having more excellent durability than that of existing cement can be readily produced.
