Abstract

CONSTITUTION: Two motors 11a, 11b in a pitch shaft 11 of a manipulator are arranged in such a state that left/right moments to a roll shaft 14 in a foot side of the manipulator are equal to each other. The left/right of the roll shaft 14 are balanced by only two motors arranged in this way so that a counter weight is eliminated and the joint weight of the pitch shaft 11 is reduced. The lightening of the joint weight can reduce the capacity of the motors used for the joints in the foot side of the manipulator to the pitch shaft 11 so as to reduce the joint weight of the foot side. The whole weight of the manipulator can be thus reduced.
