Abstract

PURPOSE:To mix a reagent and a sample rapidly, by causing the reagent and the sample to be sucked into the nozzle after air being sucked thereinto, inserting the tip of said nozzle to the bottom surface of a treatment vessel, and causing the sample, reagent, and air in the nozzle to be delivered successively. CONSTITUTION:In mixing a reagent etc. for an analyzing device of blood etc., at first an appropriate quantity of air S is sucked into a suction and discharge nozzle 2, (drawing a), after which the nozzle 2 is inserted into a treatment vessel M having a reagent m therein to suck said reagent m (drawing b). The nozzle 2 is then inserted into a treatment vessel M1 having a sample n therein to suck said sample n (drawing c). The nozzle 2 into which air S, reagent m and sample n have been sucked in succession is inserted close to the bottom surface of the treatment vessel M (drawing d). The sample n, reagent m, and air S are then caused to be delivered in the order of sample, reagent and air into the vessel M (drawing e, f). As a result, when the reagent m is delivered after the sample n, premixing between them occurs, and then the air is delivered (drawing g), so that the air S is turned into bubbles S1 in the reagent m and sample n, causing them to be mixed with each other instantly.
