Abstract
PURPOSE:To prepare a sparingly soluble feed for fish culture in one operation, by temporarily conveying a raw material kneaded in a pasty form in the course of extrusion thereof in the direction opposite to the extruding direction and extruding the raw material through a sheetlike molding part provided with many formed small holes. CONSTITUTION:An extrusion screw 3 is partially provided with a retrogressive part 8 for pushing back a raw material in the direction opposite to the extruding action direction of a screw in the course thereof and a molding part 4 is then constituted of a sheetlike molding plate 10 having many small molding holes. Thereby the powdery raw material kneaded in a pasty form is temporarily subjected to conveyance in the direction opposite to the extruding direction in the course of extrusion and subsequently extruded through the molding part 4. This feed (A) for fish culture itself has a sufficiently small diameter, is sparingly soluble and can be sufficiently administered to juvenile fishes, etc., during growth to completely prevent contamination of culture ponds, etc. The molding plate 10 can be sufficiently thinned without applying excessive pressure to the molding part 4.
