Abstract
PURPOSE:To contrive the improvement of reduction in sliding resistance and of wear resistance by installing monolithically a cylindrical sleeve made of wear resistance thermoplastic resin onto the inside hole of a rod guidance main body while being adhered thereto, and completing a guide hole to a specified inner diameter. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical sleeve 3 made of wear resistance thermoplastic resin such as resin of a fluorine family, polyimide family and the like is installed onto the inside hole 2 of a rod guide main body 1 while being adhered thereto, both end sections 3a and 3b of the sleeve 3 are bent outwardly so as to be locked fixedly onto the shoulder sections 7a and 7b of counterbored holes at the both ends of the rod guide main body 1, then a heated core for drawing is inserted, the plastic working of the inner surface is completed so as to form a guide hole 4 varying less from a specified inner diameter. This constitution thereby enables the rod guide of high performance which is low in sliding resistance, high in wear resistance with a long life and is free from the variation of an inner diameter dimension.
