Abstract

PURPOSE:To enhance the heat resistance and anti-abrasiveness by adding 10-150 parts by weight of carbon fiber having a tensile elasticity of 35,000kg/mm<2> or more to 100 parts by weight of polyphenylene sulfide resin. CONSTITUTION:10-150 parts by weight of acrylonitrile type carbon fiber etc. having a tensile elasticity of 35,000kg/mm<2> or more and a fiber length of 1-6mm approx. is added to 100 parts by weight of PPS resin type, which is dry mixed with various additives to then be molded into a specified configuration at a temp. of approx. 280-350 deg.C. Use of PPS resin and addition of high elasticity carbon fiber in this manner should provide a sliding material with high heat resistance and anti-abrasiveness.
